About
Campbells Bay has a golden sand beach that is safe and inviting for swimming, backed by a reserve at the southern end with a stream and parking. Bronze penguin sculptures in the reserve are a favourite with children.
Eat and drink
Campbells Bay itself is mostly residential, so locals head to the cafés and restaurants in nearby Mairangi Bay Village.
Why people love it
It combines a proper beach with a quiet, residential feel. There is space to spread out in summer, plenty of green to explore and an easy walk to Mairangi Bay village for coffee.
Out and about
A flat, easy coastal track runs past Red Bluff to stairs up to Kennedy Park and Rahopara Pā. Centennial Park and Pupuke Golf Course are close by.
